Alan Berch

DBR’s Executive Vice President of Professional Services is Alan Berch. Mr. Berch has worked with C-level clients for more than 25 years, helping them develop a strategic vision and establish operational excellence. An IT and business operations veteran, Alan has a solid track record of making a strategic impact by delivering results with smart, creative, and actionable solutions.

Alan’s experience includes helping more than 60 clients achieve their strategic and operational objectives in over 100 purchasing, shared services and outsourcing decisions. The size of these transactions has ranged from several million dollars to well over $1 billion. The service providers involved have included all the major Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors: IBM, EDS, HP, CSC, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and others. All the major hardware, software and service organizations have also been involved.

Over the past two years, Alan Berch has played a principal role in over $1.4 billion in strategic outsourcing and procurement undertakings, including several infrastructure and application development and maintenance transactions in both traditional ERP and business applications along with web e-commerce go-to-market initiatives.

Under Alan’s leadership, DBR is able to offer creative approaches to outsourcing endeavors by leveraging strong partnerships in the legal profession, using existing transactions contracts, and offering a fixed-price service that covers the full scope of a solution – from original ideation through RFP, selection, negotiation, and contract signing.

Prior to his role at DBR Professional Services, Alan served as a practice leader and managing director at a major publicly-held consulting firm. He was a partner at a big-four accounting/IT consulting firm, and was previously an IT director/vice president of an international investment bank.
